What image formats does dShift support?

dShift supports conversion between JPG/JPEG, PNG and WebP formats. More formats are on the roadmap.

Can I convert multiple images at once?

Yes. dShift supports batch conversion — drop multiple images at once and they will all be converted and downloaded as a ZIP.

Why should I convert images to WebP?

WebP files are typically 25–35% smaller than JPG or PNG at equivalent visual quality, making them ideal for websites and improving web performance.

Does converting change the image quality?

Converting to PNG is lossless. Converting to JPG or WebP applies compression — dShift uses high-quality settings (90%) by default.
